Two people who stole seven bales of straw from a rural plot in Kolčeg commune were arrested, the police had to fire a warning shot in the context when the accused and those who accompanied them were aggressive, the district police inspectorate of Prahova reported on Monday.

According to the cited source, on Sunday afternoon, police officers of the Mizil Police were alerted by a man that unknown persons had stolen several bales of straw from a country plot of land in the town of Kolseag with the help of a hypovariable wash. .

Three young people in the trailer, aged 15, 17 and 20, from the town of Mizil, respectively in the county of Ilfov, became unruly, intending to hit the appellant with a wooden stick. At the same time, one of the young men called another person to come for support, shortly after the arrival of a 28-year-old man who continued aggressive behavior towards the caller. Since these persons did not take into account the demands of the policemen to stop the violent actions, one of the policemen, having previously fulfilled the court’s demand, fired a shot in the vertical plane,” the IJP said in a statement.

Subsequently, the persons were immobilized and taken to court hearings, two of them, aged 20 and 28, respectively, were detained and will be submitted to the relevant prosecutor’s office with a request to choose another preventive measure.
