In a post on her personal account “X” (formerly Twitter), Navratilova talks about the fact that all her life she followed the presumption of innocence of athletes.

Martina then says that this whole doping thing stinks and that if Roxadustat remained free, she doesn’t see anyone using it given the potential side effects.

“I always wanted to give athletes the presumption of innocence. This doping stinks, given that only here you are automatically considered guilty until you prove you are not.

As an athlete, even if we said it was allowed, I don’t see why anyone would want to use this substance (without Roxadustat) given the potential side effects” – Martina Navratilova.

Who is Martina Navratilova?

At the age of 66, the Czech-American has a total of 59 Grand Slam titles won in her fantastic career in singles, doubles and mixed doubles. Navratilova is rightfully considered one of the greatest players in the history of tennis.
