The general mayor of the capital Nikusor Dan. He said on Thursday evening on the B1 TV channel that the city’s heating networks have been repaired and “this winter will be better than the last,” News.ro reports.
“In the last mandate, the average was about 15-17 km per year. We did 28 in 2021 — I’m talking about the main network — we did 32 in 2022, and we’re going to do 50 this year. We went exactly where we knew the most sensitive issues were. Therefore, this winter will be better than the last,” Nikushor Dan said on Thursday evening on B 1 TV.
The mayor explains that 10 large construction sites have been opened.
“This means construction sites with 5-6-10 km of pipe, where pre-insulated pipe is directly placed, and 10-12 construction sites in smaller pieces, where Thermoenergetics replaces conventional pipe where it believes there is damage. This winter, and because of these changes, and because of the Titan plant, which is new, we released it in February, this year will be much better than last winter,” the general manager also said.
