According to the Metropolitan Police, police officers of Department 21 under the supervision of the Prosecutor’s Office of the 6th District Court executed two search warrants at the address of residence, as well as at the headquarters of the institution in the Teleorman district in a criminal case. in which crimes of sexual violence are investigated.

“After conducting research and investigations, it was established that the suspect in committing the crime is a 63-year-old man from the Teleorman district,” the capital police also reported, clarifying that the man was detained for 24 hours.

According to judicial sources, the detainee is the mayor of Botoroaga commune in Teleorman district, who has held this position for more than 20 years.
