Residents of the northern part of Tulcea County and the border region of Galati received an RO-Alert message on Sunday evening, as there is a possibility of some objects falling from the airspace, News.ro reports.

Representatives of the Tulcea Emergency Situations Inspectorate reported that the General Emergency Situations Inspectorate issued an RO-Alert message, which informs the population of the northern district of Tulcea County about the possibility of objects falling from the airspace.

“The message is informative and contains recommendations for protection, which should be followed by residents of the affected areas in the event that these objects fall near populated areas. The RO-Alert message was sent for the northern part of Tulcea county and the border zone from the municipality of Galaţi, respectively from the Kotul Pisici beach to the Giurgiulesti customs office,” the representatives of the Tulcea ISU clarified.
