French fashion house Balmain lost dozens of clothes due to be shown in a show in Paris later this month after a truckload of clothes was stolen, its creative director Olivier Rousteing said, Reuters reported.
In an Instagram post, Rustin revealed that several thieves had stolen a car carrying around 50 items from Balmain’s new collection between Paris airport and the brand’s headquarters in the French capital.
According to him, everything is fine with the driver.
“We’re doing it all over again, but it’s so disrespectful,” he said in his message.

Balmain is set to present its spring-summer 2024 collection on September 27 during Paris Fashion Week, featuring high-end brands including Louis Vuitton, Dior, Chanel and Hermes.
A Balmain representative confirmed the Paris show would take place, declining to comment on the robbery pending an investigation.
Balmain is controlled by Mayhoola, an investment fund backed by the Qatari royal family.
