Ronnie O’Sullivan has won the Shanghai Masters of Snooker after defeating Luca Bresel in the grand final 11-9.

World number one Ronnie O’Sullivan got off to a good start and quickly broke away from 3-1 down, but his opponent made an impressive comeback to take a 4-3 lead.

The world champion conceded again, but managed to fight back once more and make the score 7-7.

The one nicknamed The Rocket again distanced himself near the end and was finally able to pull off a turnaround to finish 11-9.

For Ronnie O’Sullivan, this is not only the fourth consecutive success in Shanghai, but also revenge against Luca Bresel, after the Belgian defeated him at the World Championship in the Crucible.
