​​The beginning of the new school year led to the appearance of a new wave of Covid-19. Alexandru Rafila said Romania had reached 2,000 cases a day, but he expected the number to decrease in the coming period.

“He also returned to Romania, as he did to other countries. We currently have about 2,000 cases per day. The forms are not as bad as in previous waves. We have recently started and will very soon complete the procurement of other anti-virus products currently on the market. Tomorrow there will be a meeting with the hospitals in Bucharest to see if there are any problems regarding the hospitalization of patients,” Alexandru Rafila said on Europa FM. An official representative of the Romanian state believes that infected people or those who have symptoms are obliged to protect those around them by wearing a mask, at least in public places. Rafila says that this measure must be applied even in the absence of legal restrictions.
