“I followed official reports. If in the first days the Minister of Defense, after which the President said that it was nothing, I calmed down. Sorry, but that’s a normal reaction. After which we saw the return of the two. Know that they are working with the customer’s product. I believe that there will be clarifications within the Ministry of Defense, because it is clear that the minister left after receiving a report from subordinate structures. I think there are procedures here as well,” Sorin told Grindean on Sunday on Prima News when asked how this drone incident was visible from the government desk, as if there were fragments of the drone and then nothing. found the military.

The Minister of Transport also noted that he is convinced that investigations will be conducted within the framework of the Ministry of Transport and Communications to find out why the structures subordinate to the ministry issued different reports on the drone incident.

“I’m sure he had a report when it first came out, and I’m sure he informed the President of Romania based on that report as well. I think we have to look internally, at the bottom, and I’m sure that will be done in the Ministry of Defence. The situation is serious, and it can be seen from the return of the president. As this is a serious incident, I think there will be some sort of investigation at the Ministry of Defense into the situation in which it ended up. We have all seen the information coming from ordinary citizens about drone explosions on the Ukrainian bank of the Danube,” Grondyanu explained, answering the question of whether a resignation or a negative reaction to this topic is necessary.

Grindianu added that he does not receive information about the fall of drones, as this is not within the competence of the ministry he heads, but he receives information if aviation incidents occur with planes that have people on board.

“No, I do not receive information on the topic. I am reviewing information to see if there are any aviation incidents involving planes with people on board,” the PSD minister added.
