She was tempered by the team, with those in her box signaling that she needed three more points to book her ticket to Saturday’s grand final at Arthur Ashe.

Sabalenko defeated the American Madison Keys in three sets with the score 0-6, 7-6(1), 7-6(10-5).

In the other semi-final, Koko Gauf defeated Karolina Mukhova with a score of 6-4, 7-5.
