The Tailwind Airlines plane, flying on the Antalya-Prague route and carrying 112 passengers, made an emergency landing on Friday morning at Bucharest’s Henri Coanda Airport after it was announced that possible fuel leaks had been detected. The plane landed safely and will continue its journey after checks.

“On the morning of Friday, September 8, a Tailwind Airlines plane with 112 passengers on board requested an emergency landing at Bucharest Henri Coanda International Airport (AIHCB). The plane, which was making the Antalya-Prague flight, signaled the detection of possible technical problems (fuel leakage),” representatives of the National Company of Bucharest Airports reported.

As a result, an emergency response team was formed at the airport consisting of firefighters and an ambulance under the leadership of the AIHCB Deputy Commander.

“At 07:28 the plane landed safely and after passing the technical inspection will continue the flight to Prague. Air traffic at the airport took place in normal conditions, without any problems (…), said the quoted source. (News.ro)
