Attacks on Moscow and Zaporozhye

Ukrainian drones were shot down near Moscow, in the south of the Rostov region and in the southwest of the Bryansk region on Thursday morning, RIA reports with reference to the Russian authorities.

In the Moscow Region, a drone was shot down over the city of Ramenskoe, southeast of the Russian capital, Moscow Mayor Serhiy Sobyanin said. No casualties have been reported.

Reuters video showed several apartments with broken windows and damage to some vehicles parked nearby.

Residents of Ramensky assumed that the shelling was aimed at Zhukovsky airport, which is located less than two kilometers from the site of the terrorist attack.

Several drones also struck a residential building in Energodar, a town in the Russian-controlled part of southern Ukraine’s Zapoiiv region that is home to Europe’s largest nuclear power plant, Russian-appointed governor Yevgeny Balytskyi said, adding that no one was injured.
