Russian state news agency TASS reports that Armenia’s security service announced the arrest of “pro-Russian blogger Mika Badalyan and Sputnik Armenia columnist Ashot Gevorkyan on suspicion of illegal firearms trafficking.”

“This was announced by the press secretary of the Investigative Committee of Armenia, Hor Abrahamyan,” the message reads.

It is also reported that the Russian embassy in the capital of Armenia, Yerevan, is monitoring the situation of the two men and is “concerned” by their detention.
