As I announced last week, Shares of Fondul Proprietatea have an ex-date on Thursday – September 7. In fact, it no longer includes dividends.

On Thursday morning, the Fund traded at 0.3265 lei per share, which is 83.5% lower than the day before.

On Wednesday, Fondul Proprietatea announced a target price of 0.2615 lei per share, which is 86.8% lower than on September 6. Compared to this base price, we see a 24.86% gain as of 10:30 AM on Thursday.

We remind you that the gross amount of the special dividend proposed after the sale of Hidroelectrica is 1.7225 lei/share. Investors will receive money at the end of the month, from September 29.

Fondul Proprietatea took first place for deals on Wednesday with a value of 123.5 million lei. The price at which it closed was 1,984 lei/share.

For comparison, Romgaz is in second place with 25.3 million lei, and Banca Transilvania is in third place with 18.29 million lei.

Which companies are included in the portfolio of Fondul Proprietatea: Aeroporturi Bucharest, Engie Romania, CN Administratia Porturilor Maritime, Societatea Națională a Sării, companies from the Enel group and others.

The Romanian state owns 5.97% of shares in Fondul Proprietatea and will receive 638.1 million lei. We clarify that sums from dividends do not help the state with a deficit according to the European methodology, because they are not taken into account.
