Sepsi Sfantu Gheorghe secured a 1-0 win over UTA Arad on Monday night in the final match of the eighth round of the Romanian Super League.

Sepsi Sfantu Gheorghe went six games in a row without fail in the Romanian Super League.

The team coached by Liviu Çobotariou overcame a setback in the UEFA Conference League and beat UTA Arad at home.

Safranco had two great opportunities in the first half against Sepsi, but each time Jakob made a great save to keep the score on the scoreboard.

The biggest chance of the first half came in the 43rd minute when Cooper hit the crossbar for Nitsuli.

In the second half, Fabri checked the home goalkeeper, but he deflected the ball.

Adnan Aganovic scored the winning goal for Kovasneni in the third minute of added time with a superb free kick.

The final score is 1-0 and Sepsi has 12 points to move up to 6th place and UTA is 14th with only 7 points.
