
Residential buildings and other objects of civilian infrastructure were bombed by Russian troops on Monday, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces, which is quoted by CNN.
Russia carried out 68 airstrikes with the use of salvo fire systems against the positions of Ukrainian troops and other populated areas, he reported in Telegram.
As a result of the attacks, there are victims and wounded, the General Staff reported, but did not provide detailed information on the number of victims.
In the Zaporizhzhia region, more than 15 settlements were bombed, including Mala, Tokmachika, Orihiv, Robotine and Stepnohirsk, the General Staff reported.
Russia carried out an airstrike near Budarki in the Kharkiv region, and more than 10 settlements were shelled in the Kupyansk region, he added.
The General Staff announced that Ukrainian forces managed to repulse the strikes in the area north of Klishivka, Donetsk region.
On Monday, the armed forces of Ukraine also carried out offensive actions in the Melitopol region, including firing 11 missiles at the positions of Russian troops and two at anti-aircraft missile systems.
