In the German city of Einbeck, a Russian-speaking man attacked a group of children because they spoke Ukrainian. The man allegedly approached the children on August 26 and ordered them to speak Russian, saying that Ukraine had started a war.

According to the prosecutor’s office, the man threw the 10-year-old boy over the railing of the bridge and threw him into the canal. During the fall, the child hit and suffered head and left leg injuries. When the boy was in the canal, the man threw a bottle at him. After that, the unknown man left.

The Prosecutor General considers the attack to be politically motivated, Die Welt newspaper writes. It is also noted that the attacker spoke Russian.
