In just 3 weeks since the opening of the registration session for the UNFINISHED multidisciplinary festival, more than a thousand people have applied from all over the world. Curious people from Nigeria, Brazil, Finland, Great Britain, France and Romania expressed their desire to participate in the festival by filling out the access form – apply.unfinished.ro, without knowing too many details about what the line-up looks like and what is happening at the festival. They were guided only by the experience of the past years and the desire to be part of a global community of completely different people, whose superpower is the ability to listen to different, sometimes opposing opinions in seemingly unrelated areas, and generate innovative ideas from their intersection.

The UNFINISHED multidisciplinary festival will take place from September 22 to 24, and only 3,141 people, selected from those who applied via the application form, will participate: apply.unfinished.ro. In a 4000 sq m urban garden, a historic greenhouse and a 151-year-old historic house, the UNFINISHED community will be able to explore a unique EXPERIENCE – workshops and social experiments – CONVERSATIONS – debates, panels, keynotes, authentic ART MOMENTS – concerts, DJ sets, dances , theater – exciting INSTALLATIONS created by local and international artists, moments of WELLNESS – yoga, mindfulness, fitness – and long-awaited TASTE sessions – famous meetings at the table, wine tastings, conversations by the fire.

Christian Movila, founder of the UNFINISHED festival, sends some thoughts to this community in an open letter of thanks:

Dear Community,

Without exaggeration, I am deeply moved by the incredible response I have received from people all over the world. I am grateful for your trust, curiosity and openness to the unknown.

We began this journey with a simple yet ambitious vision to create a space where diverse minds, perspectives and disciplines converge to inspire meaningful change. I really didn’t expect you to be so enthusiastic about this idea.

The fact that hundreds of you applied to UNFINISHED without knowing who was coming or what was going on at the festival speaks volumes for everyone’s thirst for knowledge, openness to continuous learning, and desire to be a part of something bigger than themselves. This trust you have placed in us recharges our batteries and shows that what we do is valuable.

UNFINISHED embodies the power of interdisciplinarity, curiosity and real connections. Your trust in us only strengthens our determination to offer a different experience and a completely different program year after year.

Every form you receive is proof of your trust in us. It reaffirms the fact that there are few of us who want to have a space where different voices come together, where the boundaries between disciplines are blurred and where new solutions for a common future are formed.
