UTA Arad, the second victory in a row against FCSB
UTA Arad continues to be a strong match against FCSB.
Mircea Rednich’s team managed to inflict their first defeat on the Romanian vice-champion this season.
The Reds and Blues started the match in Arad brilliantly and after just 4 minutes they opened the scoring thanks to Florinel Coman.
The visiting winger received a good pass from Darius Olaru, entered the penalty area and finished with a left-footed shot.
A few minutes later, center Heman dictated UTA’s shot from 11 meters after Panthea’s handball, while Fabri beat Tirnovan from the penalty spot.
Things got tougher for FCSB before the break when Pantea was sent off following a second yellow card, also for handball.
In the second half, the hosts took the lead in the 60th minute of the game when Cooper beat Tirnovana with a free kick.
In addition, Florinel Coman was sent off in the 83rd minute, which prevented a potential comeback for the guests.
With this result, UTA Arad has 7 points and moved up to 12th place, while FCSB remains first in the ranking with 15 points.
