The DNA says that criminal proceedings are being conducted in these two criminal proceedings as reported by position and by the fact of the act:

  • “At the behest of the National Directorate for the Prevention of Corruption, two criminal cases were registered based on official reports, on the subject of alleged crimes committed by civil servants in the form of abuse of official position with obtaining undue benefit for themselves or other persons, in connection with the authorization liquefied gas station in the city of Krevedia, Dambovica County, where two explosions occurred on the afternoon of August 26, 2023.
  • Criminal prosecution is carried out for the act (“in rem”), so at the moment no person has the status of a suspect or an accused.
  • This stage does not have the character of formulating charges against the person/persons, but only has the meaning of establishing a procedural framework that allows gathering the evidence necessary to assess whether a criminal act has taken place or not.”
