A 17-year-old teenager was injured after he was hit by a bullet fired by a local resident from Meguren commune, Prahova district. The man was awakened by the noise made by a group of people on the street and, not satisfied with their noise, shot them twice, one of the bullets hitting a 17-year-old boy.

“Last night, around 4:00 a.m., a young man reported to the police of the Floresti rural police department that a man had fired a gun at a group of people in the Magureni commune. According to the statement, the police went to the scene, where they found that a 50-year-old man went outside, disturbed by the noise of a group of people, and fired two shots from a distance of 200 meters. approximately 100 meters, causing injury to one of the upper limbs of a 17-year-old minor from Telega commune. The minor in question was taken to a medical facility to receive specialized medical care without hospitalization,” the Prahova District Police said on Saturday, News.ro reported.

Police officers found a man firing a gun in his home and took him to the station for questioning. Checks showed that he is not the owner of the weapon, and the weapon was homemade. This was recovered by the police along with two homemade rounds for further investigation.

“In the case, the police continue the investigation to establish all the circumstances of the event and take the necessary measures within the framework of open criminal proceedings on the grounds of committing the crime of assault. or other violence and non-compliance with the regime of storage of weapons and ammunition, use of weapons and violation of public order and peace,” the Prahova police note.
