Sorin Grindianu said on Tuesday in Timisoara that the Pitesti-Sibiu motorway is working “surprisingly well”.

“I also saw other construction sites, namely the Pitesti-Sibiu part, they are working surprisingly well, reaching about 50%. The deadline there is 2025, most likely Pitesti – Kurtja de Arges will be finished at the end of next year,” emphasized Sorin Grindianu.

The Minister of Transport is also satisfied with the state of works on the Nuşfalău – Suplacu de Barcău section on the Transylvania Highway.

“In September, a lot will be put into circulation on the Autostrada Transylvania, from Nushfalau to Suplak de Barkeu. With these kilometers, we will reach that thousand kilometers of expressways and highways. Little compared to what we should have, but we are reaching this limit,” Grindeanu said.
