The woman, a mother of three, was admitted to the hospital on Thursday evening, but for seven hours no medical staff recorded any care maneuvers or therapeutic interventions in her medical record, according to a preliminary report from the Botosani Public Health Authority.
“The causes of death, according to the medical death certificate, were: acute cardiorespiratory failure, acute pulmonary edema and pregnancy failure complicated by infection,” a spokesman for the Mavromati County Emergency Hospital in Botosani told News.ro. , John Asaphtheus.
When asked how many of the medical personnel who were on duty in the ward that night suspended their activities by the decision of the hospital management, the representative of the health department answered: “With the caveat that I do not have the documents in front of me, I know that it is about a doctor, a nurse and support staff, three medical personnel”.

The local press published the messages that the patient sent at night to the attending and on-duty doctors with a request to intervene and perform a curettage, accusing her of excruciating pain.
