The national energy transmission operator Transelectrica published on its website on Monday an announcement for the position of a member of the company’s supervisory board. 7 positions of members of the Supervisory Board are targeted, and the recruitment and selection process takes place, theoretically, on the basis of GEO 109/2011 on corporate governance of state-owned enterprises. Recruitment and selection stages

1. Submission of documents within 30 days from the date of publication of the announcement

2. Evaluation of application files. The estimated duration is 3 days from the expiration date. Then a long list is drawn up.

3. Primary selection. The approximate duration is 5 days from the moment of drawing up the long list. Then a short list will be drawn up.

4. Final choice. Approximate duration – 3-5 days from the moment of completion of the initial selection stage. At this stage, proposals will be made regarding candidacies.

Selection criteria for members of the Supervisory Board

  • they have Romanian citizenship or citizenship of other EU member states, provided that they have a place of residence or residence in Romania;
  • I know the Romanian language very well (written and spoken);
  • they are not in a conflict of interest that would make them incompatible with membership in the Supervisory Board
  • were not finally convicted by a court verdict for committing a crime against humanity, against the state or government, corruption and official crimes, crimes against the administration of justice, forgery of documents, crimes against property, etc.
  • did not carry out political policing, as defined by law;
  • have full physical capacity;
  • fit for health;
  • demonstrate integrity by accepting the conditions for ORNISS certification at the level required by the company
  • higher education (at least equivalent to ISCED 6) obtained at a higher education institution.
  • work experience in higher education of at least 5 years and total work experience of at least 15 years;
  • experience in administration, management, management or coordination in public or private organizations for at least 5 years.

At least two positions of members of the Supervisory Board with education other than economics or law (for which candidates with economics or jurisprudence can also apply) will be appointed candidates with at least one year of work experience in administration, management, management or acquired coordination level. in the company with the main field of activity Transelectrica.
