A 29-year-old man from Timiş County, who was riding a jet ski on the water surface of a ballast tank in Fantanele District, Arad County, died after being decapitated by a cable. A young woman who was with him on a jet ski was injured, News.ro reports.

“On August 19 of this year, around 16:40, SNUAU 112 received a report about an incident on the surface of the water of a ballast tank in the Zabrani area. During the first checks, it was established that the man is approximately 29 years old, from Jud. Timis, while traveling on a jet ski on the water, allegedly had an accident together with a young woman,” IPJ Arad reports.

As a result of the accident, the boy died, and the 22-year-old woman received minor injuries and was taken to the hospital

According to this fact, the police opened criminal proceedings. The lifeless body of the young man was taken to SJML Arad for an autopsy.

The man was with a group of friends from Timișoara County on a trip to Arad County.

According to Aradon, a group of divers from ISU Arad was also invited to the scene to search for the man’s head.
