Denis Shmigal stated that after discussions with government representatives, an agreement was signed in Bucharest aimed at mutual changes of education documents, which would allow citizens of the two states to use diplomas “without any permission or approval” in the two countries, to work “according to their profession” .

  • “We signed an agreement on mutual changes of educational documents, which will allow Ukrainians and Romanians to use their educational documents, diplomas, without any permission or approval in our countries, to work in their profession. This is extremely important. why First of all, it is important for Ukraine, because more than 125 thousand Ukrainians are currently in Romania as refugees, most of them women and children. We are really very grateful and appreciate the fact that Romania accepts Ukrainian refugees, and it is important for them to have the opportunity to work and earn money, to pay taxes to the Romanian budget. And it is also important for Romanians in the future processes of recovery of Ukraine, because Romanians will go to Ukraine and help us, support us and do business in Ukraine, helping to heal our country. This document is very promising and very important for both our countries. I also signed another note on the creation of a new border point between our countries,” said the Prime Minister of Ukraine in an interview given on Friday to the Digi 24 TV channel, News.ro reports.
  • “Today I had a very fruitful meeting with the Prime Minister of Romania, with ministers (not Romanian). It is very important that we agreed together. First of all, we would like to intensify our cooperation regarding Danube logistics, rail and road logistics. We have also agreed to use the port of Constanta for the logistics and transportation of Ukrainian grain cargoes so that we can double our export capacity with Romania. And this is important not only for Ukraine and Romania, but also for the European Union and other countries that are waiting for Ukrainian grain and food. I signed some agreements. First of all, it was a mutual declaration of the prime ministers regarding the development of logistics and personalized logistics between our countries. We are talking about cars, border points, railways and waterways, meaning Danube and sea ports, border points. And there are also items on the development of roads and bridges, infrastructure between our countries. I think that in the near future, with the support of the European Commission, we will double our infrastructure capacity, or even more,” the Prime Minister of Ukraine also noted.

It will be recalled that Prime Minister Marcel Cholaku said in a joint statement to the press with the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shihal, who was in Bucharest on Friday, that Romania plans to double the volume of grain transit through Romania in the next period from 2 million tons per month, as now, 4 million tons per month.
