
A 12-year-old girl was injured on Wednesday after she allegedly climbed onto a ping-pong table at a park in the capital’s 4th district and it broke. The child will be transported to the Marie Curie Hospital. Police have opened an investigation to determine exactly what happened.
The incident happened in the park on Kostila Street No. 1. 10 from sector 4, policemen from sector 16 called 112 and were informed that the tennis table fell on the girl’s leg.
Public safety officers arrived to find that a 12-year-old girl had climbed onto a ping pong table, which broke, striking the child in the right leg. She will be taken to Marie Curie Hospital for medical treatment.
