The alarm was raised around 10 o’clock, when the ceremony on the occasion of the Day of the Romanian Navy began in Constanta.
The ship “Phoenix” departed from the celebration of the parade to participate in the search and rescue operation of a person who fell into the water in the area of Korbu beach, on the order of the MRCC service.
According to the information provided by the MRCC (Maritime Coordination Centre), there were two people who were in danger of drowning and fortunately managed to get out of the water.
The operation was canceled and the Phoenix returned to the Romanian Navy Day celebrations.
