Nick Robert, the leader of the clan of athletes, was arrested on charges of beating and threatening his father-in-law, as well as his son-in-law’s concubine, who tried to stop the man, reports news.ro.

According to the Metropolitan Police, a 44-year-old man was detained by law enforcement officers after he allegedly physically assaulted another man and a woman at an address in Sector 4 of Bucharest.

Law enforcement officers who arrived at the scene found that the son-in-law hit the father-in-law in the stairwell of the block where he lived, then in the parking lot.

A woman, the concubine of the 44-year-old man’s brother-in-law, intervened in the quarrel, who in turn suffered physical violence.

“Furthermore, during the altercation, the woman would have tried to stop them, at which point she would also have been physically assaulted by the same man, who later left the area. At the same time, the man continued to send threats to two people through the chat application, as well as messages with the help of which he tried to influence their statements,” the capital police said.

The violent man is Nika Robert, the leader of the clan of athletes, according to judicial sources cited by news.ro.

He was remanded in custody for 30 days.
