
Two pilots ejected at the last moment from a MiG-23 fighter during the Thunder over Michigan air show near Detroit, and the plane crashed near a residential complex, Fox 2 Detroit reports, News.ro writes.
“They apparently did not receive serious injuries, but the first rescuers took them to a nearby hospital as a precaution. The plane touched empty cars in the parking lot of the residential complex. No one was injured in the residential complex or at the air show,” the organizers of the event reported on Sunday.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has launched an investigation.
Two pilots were pulled out of a lake located near the complex where the plane crashed.
The video captured the moment they ejected from the plane as it gained altitude and approached the ground.
These images quickly went viral on social media.
The tragedy was prevented. FAA and NTSB investigators are on the scene at Waverly on the Lake Apartments in Van Buren Twp., where the wreckage of a Russian MiG-23 crashed just feet from the apartment.
