Victory with Botoshani, the turning point of Dynamo

Dynamo achieved its first success after returning to the first echelon of Romanian football.

The Dogs beat FC Botosani by a margin after the match was decided in extra time to move up to 14th in the rankings.

At the end of the game, Dynamo coach Ovidiu Burke talked about the significance of this success for Dynamo and also analyzed the game against Botosani.

“It was a difficult game against a good team that plays without an inferiority complex, with very good counter-attacking players. We had a difficult match, we had to attack, but also prepare for moments when we lost the ball.

I needed this victory, I needed confidence. Victories are the most important thing, they give confidence that everything is fine.

I think we were the team that dominated the game, tried to create chances. I think there is no problem (no one deserved to win), it was a match I controlled.

The atmosphere in the dressing room is very good. It’s clear that because we’ve brought in so many new players, there’s no clear hierarchy yet. We are in a moment of transition.” – said Ovidiu Burke, reports Digi Sport.
