Bayern Munich is negotiating with David De Gea

The goalkeeper position remains a major problem for Bayern Munich, and the German champions are already in a tight spot.

The Germans were keen on Kepa Arrizabalaga after the departure of Yann Sommer, but the most expensive goalkeeper in history has decided to go on loan to Real Madrid.

There, the Spanish goalkeeper will replace Thibaut Courtois, who received a very serious injury.

With Kepa’s option falling through, the Thomas Tuchel-coached form have now turned to David De Gea, reports The Sun daily.

David De Gea, who is out of contract after parting ways with Manchester United, remains the only option for the Germans, but his big problem is likely to be wages.

De Gea was one of the top three highest-paid players in the Premier League, earning over £250,000 a week.

€13 million is David De Gea’s market share, according to Transfermarkt.
