Mihai Kirika, after “Poli Iasi” – “University of Craiova” 1-4: “You shouldn’t play football in League 1”

Chirica published three posts on Facebook on Saturday night, in which he expressed his displeasure with the removal of Alin Roman.

The mayor declared that “football should not be played in Ligue 1”, he spoke of “a joke on the high road” and also mentioned Geboase, who caused a scandal with his performance at the Untold festival.

“It’s not really worth playing football in Ligue 1. It’s a waste of time and resources. Shame! From now on, I’m not talking about Ligue 1, I’m waiting for the day when the stupid thief will allow Romanian sport to speak. Until then, I’ll be playing children’s sports! And again, shame on you who deal with the Romanian professional league!” – Mihai Chirika.

“7-8-year-old children shout “Thief, thief!”. I suspect that they came to watch sports, not to go for a walk! I am ashamed of the trauma these children are going through. If this is football league 1 in Romania, if this is what organizes this league, and if you think that I am still sitting at the table with you, you are wrong! Sports for children!” – Mihai Chirika.

“League 1 seems to favor Geboase! Apparently, that’s where you want our children! We will look for other sports!” – Mihai Chirika.

After criticism on Facebook, as well as a moderator of the TV show, Chirica deleted the posts and explained why he did it.

“I ‘removed’ because I am not talking about ethnicity, but about the role of sports in the education of our children. We still have a lot, too much to do to perform again” – Mihai Chirika.

The reaction of Internet users did not take long: “If you didn’t fast, you remained a philosopher, and now you don’t fast anymore!” / “First of all, you still have a lot to do…like learning Romanian” / “I wish you could tell me what the word ‘depostat’ means” / “If you were a man, you would depostat , even if they were nonsense.”
