The White House has said it does not support attacks inside Russia. The announcement came after two Ukrainian drones crashed into buildings in Moscow on Monday, Reuters reported on Tuesday.
“In general, we do not support attacks inside Russia,” White House spokeswoman Karin Jean-Pierre said at a press conference.
Russia has announced tough retaliatory measures against Ukraine after two drone strikes, including one near the headquarters of the Ministry of Defense, which it called an unleashed act of terrorism.
Russia’s Defense Ministry also accused Ukraine of a “terrorist” drone attack on Moscow on Monday after the city’s mayor announced that two buildings had been damaged and media reported the discovery of debris near the agency’s buildings, Reuters said.
