​Two trucks loaded with grain collided on Sunday evening on DN 2A in Jalomitsa County and caught fire, the Road Information Center reports. Two people were injured, one was unconscious and had to be picked up by the SMURD helicopter. Traffic is blocked.

After a head-on collision between two trucks loaded with grain, both caught fire, ISU Ialomiţa officials told News.ro, and at the time of this news, firefighters from the Tăndărei station are extinguishing the fire.

Operatives found two victims. One of the wounded was picked up by an ambulance from Constanta to be taken to the hospital.

The second is unconscious, but has a pulse and is breathing. The victim was released and will be picked up by the SMURD helicopter and taken to the hospital.

The Romanian Police Traffic Information Center previously reported that two trucks loaded with grain collided on DN 2A, at the exit from Jurgeni area to the bridge, Ialomica County.

The impact caused the vehicles to catch fire.

Traffic is blocked on DN 2A, traffic from the Gura Ialomiţei area is diverted to DN 3B towards Feteşti.
