
This week, mixed commissions inspected almost 2,500 social centers, 105 sanctions were issued for a total amount of more than 1.1 million lei. Ten blocks were ordered to suspend or cease operations on Friday, and more than 70 people have been relocated or are in the process of being relocated.

“From the reports sent by the district agencies for payments and social inspection, respectively, the municipality of Bucharest, it appears that between 10 and 14 July 2023, controls were carried out at the national level in 2,480 social services. 105 illegal sanctions were applied, including 16 warnings and 89 fines totaling 1,141,000 lei,” representatives of the Ministry of Labor said on Friday evening, News.ro reported.
On Friday, 365 subjects were checked. Thus, an order was issued to relocate eight children from the premises of the foundation in Slobozia Nowa, Jalomica County, which was operating without a license. Several 14 elderly people were relocated from a private settlement in the village of Mandra, Olt county, another 24 from a center in Chitila, Ilfov county, and 25 from a center in Deresht, Ilfov county.
