
Having turned 39 in two days, Slovenian goalkeeper Samir Handanovic has parted company with Inter Milan, the club he played for for the past 11 seasons.

Milan “Inter” announced on Wednesday on its official website about parting with goalkeeper Samir Handanovich.
Bought in 2012 from Udinese for 15 million euros, Samir Handanovich entered the history of the Inter Milan club.
During the 11 seasons spent at the club, the Slovenian played 455 games, becoming the second foreigner in the number of matches after the legendary Argentine Javier Zanetti (615 games).
The former captain of “Inter” Handanovich also entered the history of Serie A, saving 32 penalties, which is a record for the first competition in Italy.
With the Nerrazuri, he won the Serie A title (2021), two Italian Cups (2022 and 2023) and two Super Cups (2021, 2022).
