On Friday, at the beginning of the government meeting, Prime Minister Marcel Čolaku demanded the dismissal of the leadership of the National Agency for Protection and Social Inspection, as well as the district leadership of this body. The head of the government also asked for the dismissal of DGASPC Ilfov and Sector 3, as well as the National Authority for the Protection of the Rights of People with Disabilities in the scandal related to the horrors in the three care and assistance centers in Afumata. and Volunteers “St. Gavriil the Brave”, where elderly people were kept in incredible conditions, starving and without medical care, with wounds to the bones and feces.

“I believe that this criminal group, organized with the complicity of some officials, must react as soon as possible, and I ask the Minister of Labor to fire today the leadership of ANPIS and AJPIS Ilfov,” Prime Minister Marcel Čolaku said on Friday.

The management of AJPIS Ilfov, which has clear responsibilities for the control and authorization of these centers, finally authorized one center on 29.06.2023, one center on 10.05.2023 and one provisionally authorized center on 10.05.2023.

“The minister will go to a briefing to show you the photos from the file showing that these centers are 5-star hotels and the realities that the press found there.
