
On Sunday evening, meteorologists issued a red code warning of heavy rains in several areas of Cluj County. The authorities issued a RO-ALERT message, warning the public about weather phenomena.
According to the National Weather Service, an immediate severe weather warning went into effect at 7:00 p.m. and remains in effect for one hour for the communities of Micah and Mintiu Herlii, aimed at torrential downpours that will accumulate more than 40 l/m2, electrical discharges.
More than 40 l/m2 has accumulated in the warning zone, meteorologists report.
According to the ISU Cluj, the population was warned by the RO-ALERT message, and no calls to 112 due to extreme weather phenomena had been received by the time of this news. (News.ro)
