“The train is a very good option if you choose the Romanian coast as your destination. An interregional train from Gara de Nord, Bucharest, takes less than two and a half hours to Constanta. Today, due to the fact that repair work is being carried out on the Chernavoda bridge, the duration of the trip by car is longer,” the Minister of Economy, Entrepreneurship and Tourism wrote on Facebook on Friday evening.

Stefan Radu Oprea claims that the train he is traveling on is “clean, safe and all seats are occupied.”

“Tomorrow I will be at the ANPC coastal command to see the Romanian coast through the eyes of those who control it, then there will be meetings with tourist operators,” the minister also said, estimating that the train he was traveling on was traveling at 150 km/h.

The minister also stated that he wants the coast to offer quality services to attract tourists: “I want to offer the best possible conditions for the Romanian coast to be the holiday destination of choice for Romanian and foreign tourists.” (News.ro)
