Gauff did not feel much emotion and ended the dispute in just one hour and 10 minutes, managing to defeat the athlete, who is ranked 4th in the WTA hierarchy, with a double 6-3.
In the semifinals, Coco Gauff will meet Madison Keys (25 WTA), another from the United States of America.
Keys defeated Petra Martic (30 WTA) in the quarters with a score of 6-4, 6-1.
The tournament in Eastbourne belongs to the WTA 500 category and offers a total of $780,637 in prize money. The title champion is Petra Kvitova. It takes place from June 26 to July 1.
