Romania – Croatia, a moral match of the tricolor

The Romanian national team is organizing the European Youth Championship together with Georgia, but Emil Sandoj’s team has already left the competition after two games.

Defeated after a no-show against Spain, the tricolors also lost their match against Ukraine, pinning their hopes on a potential Croatia win against Spain.

The Iberians took the lead from the first minute through Abel Ruiz and the score remained unchanged until the end despite the Croatians’ insistence.

Thus, Romania is mathematically eliminated from the final tournament, which it hosts, and the match against Croatia will be a simple friendly. Both first teams were eliminated from the competition.

Romania will meet Croatia on June 27 at 9:45 p.m. in a match that will take place at Steaua Stadium.
