Olena Rybakina was eliminated by Donna Vekic at the WTA in Berlin

The first set was evenly contested and reached a tie-break, where the player from Kazakhstan won with a decisive score of 7-1.

In the second set, Vekic took the match under her control and turned the game into a decider, where the Croatian took advantage of Rybakina’s mistakes and managed to qualify.

The game lasted two hours and 16 minutes.

In the quarterfinals, Donna Vekic will meet Russian Elina Avanesyan (81 WTA).

The German Open is a WTA 500 tournament that takes place on grass in Berlin. The tournament will be held from June 19 to 25, and the total prize pool is $780,637. Last year’s champion was Ons Zhaber.
