In a new video shared by the Ukrainian military on social media, one of the Bradley fighting vehicles received from the United States is operating at the front.
The footage shows an armored infantry fighting vehicle engaging Russian troops at the edge of a forest, firing its 25mm M242 “Bushmaster” main gun and its 7.62mm M240C secondary machine gun.
Although it did not record particularly spectacular fights, the recording is notable for its duration of more than 5 minutes. She also appears to have captured a Bradley vehicle jumping to the aid of another decommissioned Ukrainian military vehicle in its path.

The video appeared on social media just a day after Ukrainian soldiers aboard Bradley fighting vehicles effectively destroy two Russian vehicles with TOW missiles, also provided by the US military.
The two BGM-71 TOW (“Tubular, Optically Tracked, Guided By Wire”) launchers on board the Bradley vehicles are by far the most impressive weapons in the arsenal of this American armored vehicle, which is also the reason why General Mark Gertling, former commander by American troops in Europe, said of them that they had the potential to be “tank killers.”
Ukrainians would throw bradleys into battle in the offensive in the south of the country
According to information circulating on social networks, both videos were shot in the Zaporizhzhia region in southern Ukraine, on one of the fronts where the Ukrainian army is trying to break through the Russian defense lines.
Evgeny Balytskyi, the governor of the Zaporizhia region appointed by the Russian occupiers, announced an order to evacuate the front-line cities in early May, citing the increased Ukrainian bombing.
“In recent days, the enemy has intensified the bombing of settlements near the front line. Therefore, we decided to evacuate first of all children and parents, elderly people, disabled people and hospital patients. A temporary evacuation will take place,” Balitskyi said on May 5.
This step took place against the backdrop of military analysts’ expectations that the Zaporizhzhia region would become one of the possible targets of the long-awaited Ukrainian offensive.
The Zaporozhye region was 80% occupied by Russian forces before the offensive began, and the invasion force sent by Vladimir Putin to Ukraine included the largest nuclear power plant in Europe, which is located here near the city of Energodar that serves it.
