New Prime Minister Marcel Cholaku took the metro to the Ministry of Transport on Tuesday, where he held a press conference with Sorin Grindianu. “I will use the subway, I hope to go with Mr. Grindyanu to the sea by train, we both promised. This is a normal approach, it’s not image PR, as they say, it’s actually normal,” the PSD leader said.
He told reporters that this is not the first time he has taken the metro: “I have not taken the metro for the first time. Now it has become more interesting, probably because of or because of the function, as you want to choose.”
The PSD leader said that he tried to pay for the metro card by phone, but it did not work.
“I also bought two trips. That means I have at least one more ride left. I will use the subway, I hope to go with Mr. Grindeanu to the sea by train, we both promised. This is a normal approach, it’s not image PR, as they say, it’s actually a normal approach,” said Marcel Cholaku.
He made these statements at a press conference held at the Ministry of Transport together with Sorin Grindeanu, where the new prime minister said that during Chuke’s mandate, the Ministry of Transport was “the ministry with the best results in terms of investment as a public budget , as well as from European funds.”
“It seems to me that the Romanian record is 100 km per year (the number of kilometers traveled on the track), it happened. I am firmly convinced, since I know the minister, and now, seeing how ambitious the entire team is, we will surpass this record as well,” said Cholaku.
