A new video shared on social media shows Ukrainian soldiers aboard Bradley fighting vehicles effectively destroying two Russian military vehicles with TOW missiles, also supplied by the US military.
The footage shows American Bradleys rapidly destroying two Russian army vehicles, although the video, taken at night in the Zaporizhzhia region, is unclear as to whether these were tanks or other combat vehicles.
However, the recorded strong explosions rather indicate the first option.

Bradley infantry fighting vehicles are equipped with two launchers that can destroy enemy tanks with BGM-71 TOW (“Tube-launched, Optically tracked, Wire-guided”) missiles, which are considered one of the most reliable in the world.
Produced in large quantities since the 1970s, they are now in service with many NATO countries, including Canada, Germany, Great Britain, Spain and Italy.
In fact, US General Mark Hertling has been talking about their potential to be “tank killers” since January, before the US officially approved sending Bradley vehicles to the Ukrainian army.
Why the US general called Bradley cars “tank killers”
“As I said a few days ago, I was commanded by Brad (Bradley) in Desert Storm. The Brad (or BMP/CFV) is NOT a tank, but it can be a tank killer… and a vehicle. (BMP=BMP, BMP=BMP),” he wrote on his Twitter page after
“On the turret it has: 2 TOW anti-tank missiles, a 25mm Bushmaster autocannon, a twin 7.62 caliber machine gun, all effective at long ranges. Two images of our 1990-91 CFV, Brad’s first variant, with ‘poor man’s sandbags’ and an added luggage rack,” explained Hertling, former commander of US Forces Europe.
“It was a great car. We effectively hit Iraqi tanks, armored personnel carriers and other targets. Even though it’s a tracked vehicle, it doesn’t have too many complex engine and turret issues. Good gas mileage, top speed of about 65 kilometers per hour over rough terrain, minimal maintenance, reliable protection and firepower. The infantry variants have a lot of room in the back for soldiers,” he added.
The first Bradley cars destined for Ukraine arrived in Europe in mid-February, judging by videos that appeared on social networks at the time.
Russia claimed the destruction of several Bradleys in the first days of the Ukrainian offensive, with some estimates putting Kyiv’s losses at 15 percent after the attack began.
