National assessment 2023 – subjects in the Romanian language obtained during the simulation
Students had the opportunity to test their knowledge of the Romanian language for the 2023 national assessment during a simulation organized in the spring.
The first item the Romanian students received during the 2023 National Assessment simulation was an excerpt from Dansul ursului by Ion D. Syrbu, and the second item from 30 Years in the Saddle by Felix Shopescu. The requirements for solving subjects in the Romanian language concerned the identification of certain information from two texts. In addition, another requirement was to identify diphthong-containing words from a given series, as well as derived words.
At the same time, the definition of synonyms was among the requirements for Romanian language subjects from the simulation of the National Assessment 2023. The second of the topics in the Romanian language from the simulation of the National Assessment 2023 consisted of writing a summary of text 1 in 80-120 words.

National assessment – Romanian language topics obtained in last year’s exam
The Romanian subjects in last year’s national assessment were not considered to pose much of a problem for secondary school leavers. Students taking the Romanian language exam of the National Assessment 2022 had to solve two subjects, with several requirements, in the first of which they were given the fragments “Toate pânzele sus!” Council of Tudoran and from “Frânturi din vieta lui Delavrancea” by Cella Delavrancea.
In the second topic, students of the 8th grade had to write a narrative text, no more than 150 words, in which they would present the most beautiful incident from the holidays. The text had to contain a descriptive sequence and a dialogue sequence.

Grade point average V-VIII, subtracted from the calculation of the average entry into high school
Grades V-VIII GPA will be removed from the calculation of the GPA for high school entrance, so the graduate ranking will be based only on GPA on the national assessment starting in the 2022-2023 school year.
Until now, the average acceptance rate, on the basis of which graduates of the 9th grades of secondary schools were enrolled, was calculated as a weighted average between the overall average score on the national assessment made by the graduates of the 8th grades, which has a weight of 80%, and the overall average graduation score of 5 – 8 classes, which has a weight of 20% in the calculation of the average entrance score.
