Vitor Roque transferred to FC “Barcelona” for 40 million euros

After the agreement between the two clubs and the acceptance of the player, it is expected that the transfer will be formalized when Barcelona will pay part of the available salary, writes AS daily.

At the moment, the economic situation of the Catalans requires the departure of at least three players in order to have enough salary budget.

Vitor Roque will sign a contract for five seasons, and Barcelona will pay around 40 million euros in three installments.

The young Brazilian talent occupies the position of central forward and would be an alternative to Robert Lewandowski, although he can also play on the wings.

After the transfer, coach Xavi had only two positions left to cover out of three priority positions: defensive midfielder instead of Busquets and attacking midfielder.

Trained at Cruzeiro, Roque arrived in 2022 at Atlético Paranaense, for whom he scored 12 goals in 43 games. This year, he made his debut in the Brazilian national team, scoring eight goals in 11 matches as a youth player.
