The national company for the management of road infrastructure (CNAIR) warns of an unauthorized mobile application for the purchase of tolls and with the help of which drivers pay additional costs.
On Tuesday, CNAIR notes that the Aircash mobile application is not authorized to collect commission (rovinieta) and asks drivers to pay rovinieta only on the portal owned by the road company, available at www.erovinieta.ro or at authorized distributors, authorized distribution points/ whose web portals can be found on the company’s official website at http://www.cnadnr.ro/ro/puncte-de-distributie.
- “CNAIR does not bear any responsibility for users accessing unauthorized web portals/mobile apps to pay the fine.
- At the same time, we emphasize that when buying a ticket through the Aircash application, users pay additional costs compared to the actual price of the ticket (for example: for a ticket valid for 7 days for a car, on web portals authorized by CNAIR, the user pays the equivalent of 3 euros, corresponding to the tariff, established by current legislation, and through the Aircash program the amount paid is 5 euros, of which 2 euros represent the VOI (Vignette Online Identification) fee,” CNAIR reports.
