Russian bloggers are praising the success of Putin’s forces in deploying a full complement of Black Hornet micro-drones, one of the smallest unmanned military vehicles. The equipment fits in the pocket.
Several Russian Telegram channels close to the Kremlin wrote about a small amount of military booty located on Russian soil.
Russian bloggers claim that near Novaya Tavolzhanka, a city in Russia’s Belgorod region that is constantly attacked by anti-Putin militias, Russian special forces successfully “ambushed a unit of the Ukrainian Kraken battalion.”
A “tense” battle took place between Russian and Ukrainian forces, with Kyiv’s military “eliminated” and Putin’s soldiers reportedly capturing a “full complement” of Black Hornet drones.

What are Black Hornet micro drones
Norway and Britain in August 2022 announced the supply of micro-drones to Ukraine to help it in its war with Russia.
The cost of the Teledyne Flir Black Hornet drones, which are used for reconnaissance and target identification, amounted to more than 9 million euros, Norwegian authorities said.
The Black Hornet micro-drone is easy to operate, reliable, difficult to detect and especially suitable for fighting in urban areas, said Norwegian Defense Minister Bjorn Arild Gram, quoted by The Guardian, quoted by news.ro.
According to the manufacturer, the Black Hornet microdrone is “extremely lightweight, nearly silent, has a flight time of up to 25 minutes, fits in a pocket, is combat-tested, and transmits real-time video and still images in HD to the operator.”
